What time is everything?
Sunday School begins at 9:30. There are two adult Sunday School classes to choose from and classes children PreK through High School.
Worship begins at 10:30AM and lasts about an hour.
What do I wear?
Whatever you’re most comfortable wearing. We have people worshiping in shorts and Hawaiian shirts next to people in their Sunday best.
What’s worship like at Oak Chapel UMC?
Our worship is centered on the good news of Jesus Christ. We use hymnals for congregational singing, and we value everyone’s participation and response in worship. Participate however much you’re comfortable — we won’t put you on the spot. We believe that worship is our response to God rather than a performance that we witness each week. We celebrate Holy Communion the first of the month as well as other special Sundays throughout the year.
