In A Nutshell | May 29, 2015

Hello, Oak Chapel Friends,
We all know the Golden Rule: “Treat people in the same way that you want them to treat you” (Luke 6:31, CEB). Whether the issue is equal rights, child welfare, workers’ advocacy or living wages, Peace with Justice Sunday encourages us to practice the Golden Rule, putting our good thoughts into life-changing action.

This Sunday during worship we will celebrate Peace with Justice. The students in the Saplings group will offer a prayer for peace that they have written and our worship will focus on the ways in which we can work toward peace and justice. My sermon titled “Welcoming All Parts” is based on 1 Corinthians 12: 12 – 27. I trust you will join us at 10:30 a.m. for this meaningful worship experience.

Below you will find announcements and important information about upcoming events. Please review and mark your calendars accordingly.
